Life cell imaging, immunohistochemistry, fluorescence in-situ hybridization, super high resolution microscopy, fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS), laser scanning microscopy
Imaging Chamber products are cell culture vessels with a removable chamber body and cover glass bases with a glass thickness of 170 µm. Chambers are made of high- performance polymers and are sealed against the glass bottoms by biological inert silicone adhesive. At the end of the experiments the glass can be detached from the chamber and used for further processing or archiving.
The high performance polymer of chamber bodies and lids withstands temperatures up to 90°C. Due to this temperature stability the Imaging Chambers show also excellent stability of the focus plane even though the chambers are exposed to temperature shifts (e.g. when the chambers are transported from the incubator to the microscope). Furthermore the Imaging Chambers are resistant against many chemicals (e.g. acetone, DMSO, alcohols). Therefore the full products are suitable for in-situ hybridization technologies as well as for a wide range of fixation and staining protocols.
The cover glasses of the Imaging Chambers CG are made of borosilicate glass compliant to hydrolytic class I with a thickness of 170 µm. Imaging Chambers CG with cover glass bottoms can be used for high resolution microscopy with immersion objectives (with high numerical aperture).
Cell adhesion, spreading and distribution are supported by over improved surface modification. Imaging Chambers are available in 1, 2, 4 and 8 well format.
They are free of detectable DNase, RNase and human DNA, free of detectable endotoxins and free of cytotoxic substances.
TC = Tissue Culture, amine coated surface, suitable for most adherend cell lines (e.g. HEK U293, HepG2, MCF-7). Sensitive cell lines (e.g. PC-12) and some primary cell types benefit from additional surface coatings with ECM proteins or equivalent coatings.
